How to Organize an Easter Basket
Celebrating Easter with baskets doesn't have to be complicated. Simply include these five things when making a gift basket for anyone: 1. Hobbies: Does your mate like to fish? Include a fishing magazine and some lures. Does your son love to build? Find a small Lego set and a Lego catalog for him. You get the idea. 2. Food: Fast food gift cards are a welcome addition to most anyone's Easter basket. Consider grocery store gift cards for grandparents. Or how about a gas card? 3. Music: Include a CD by a favorite artist or an I-tunes gift card. 4. Reminder: Don't forget the reason for the season. Throw in a cross pin or a child's book about the real meaning of Easter. 5. Candy: Limit sweets this year and include a fun toothbrush for the kids. It doesn't have to be expensive to provide Easter baskets for your family. Look for bargains at the local dollar store. Re-use baskets every year. Make it a fun morning by hiding the baskets and making everyone search. Be sure to color Easter eggs with the twelve and under group. Egg hunts can keep little ones busy for hours. Copyright 2008-2012 Barbara Myers. The Time Manager. Free tips booklet at www.ineedmoretime.com.
