8 Ideas to Organize Your Car

We spend so much time in our cars that they easily become filled with clutter.  Try these ideas to keep your car organized:

•  Assign a specific spot for trash or keep a supply of plastic grocery bags in the car.

•  Consider buying a visor CD holder and a visor sunglasses clip.  You can also place a rubber band around the sun visor to hold your sunglasses.

•  Use a tote bag to carry items to and from the car.   These are also great car organizers when used for reading materials, toys or maps.

•  Keep a crate in the trunk to hold purchases and essentials and to keep them from rolling around.

•  Keep a local phone book and important personal phone numbers in the car.

•  Place a box of baby wipes in the car for quick clean ups and to wash up before drive-thru meals.

•  Buy a cell phone holder that clips into the car's vent.   (I bought mine at Target).  Whether you have an iPhone, one of the Blackberry Curve and Bold phones, or Android phones, you should be able to find a holder that fits your specific phone.

•  Clean out your glove box regularly.  Keep a limited supply of napkins, salt and ketchup packets as well as maps, tire gauge, cell phone charger and a few favorite CDs.
