I Need More Time
Hi. I'm Barbara, and even though I'm a Professional Organizer, and have been organizing for over 25 years, I feel like there is never enough time to do everything I want to do.
I'm happily married with two kids, and live in Central Ohio. I've lived all kinds of lives: a traveling business person, a caregiver to a sick husband, a widow/single mom, a stay-at-home mom and a parttime working mom. Kids have a way of changing everything about your life from routines to sleep habits. A messy husband can turn your life upside down and make you reevaluate your systems. Throw in a paying job and you've got a very busy life!
In 1989, I began organizing sales meetings and trade show booths around the country. In 1998, my late husband suffered a massive stroke. He struggled to speak any words, a conditional called aphasia. If he couldn't tell me what he needed or wanted he had to know exactly where to find it. Limiting our possessions and giving each item a designated home greatly reduced our stress levels! I was so overcome with an organizing passion that I started a business as a professional organizer in 2001. Knowing how getting organized can truly turn a person's life around, I decided to make this my life's work. It's my way of helping others.
Decluttering and designating "homes" for everythng has made my life so much easier! I want to help others do the same. You can manage your stress and you can manage your time if you can manage to get organized.
